1. About This Agreement / इस समझौते के बारे में

By creating an account on Mera Hisaab or using the app in any way, you agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

मेरा हिसाब पर खाता बनाकर या ऐप का किसी भी प्रकार से उपयोग करके, आप इन उपयोग की शर्तों और गोपनीयता नीति से सहमत होते हैं। यदि आप सहमत नहीं हैं, तो कृपया ऐप का उपयोग न करें।

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"):

• Olive Digital Solutions Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary — the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing your personal data.

• You, the user of the app, are the Data Principal — the individual whose personal data is being processed.

डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 ("DPDPA") के तहत:

• ओलिव डिजिटल सोल्यूशंस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड डेटा फिड्यूशरी है।

• आप, ऐप के उपयोगकर्ता, डेटा प्रिंसिपल हैं।

2. What Is Mera Hisaab? / मेरा हिसाब क्या है?

Mera Hisaab is a digital accounting and bookkeeping application designed for small business owners, including but not limited to kirana stores, food stalls, street vendors, home-based businesses, and small traders. The app helps you record sales, expenses, credit (udhar), payments, and other business transactions digitally.

मेरा हिसाब एक डिजिटल हिसाब-किताब ऐप है जो छोटे व्यापार मालिकों के लिए बनाया गया है — जैसे किराना दुकान, खाने का स्टॉल, रेहड़ी-पटरी विक्रेता, घर-आधारित व्यापार, और छोटे व्यापारी।

3. Who Can Use the App / ऐप कौन उपयोग कर सकता है

You may use Mera Hisaab if you are at least 18 years of age and are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Indian law.

आप मेरा हिसाब का उपयोग तभी कर सकते हैं जब आपकी आयु कम से कम 18 वर्ष हो और आप भारतीय कानून के तहत कानूनी रूप से बाध्यकारी समझौता करने में सक्षम हों।

4. Your Account / आपका खाता

You are responsible for keeping your phone number, login credentials, and OTP confidential. Any activity that happens through your account is your responsibility. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately.

आप अपने फ़ोन नंबर, लॉगिन क्रेडेंशियल्स और OTP को गोपनीय रखने के लिए ज़िम्मेदार हैं। आपके खाते से होने वाली कोई भी गतिविधि आपकी ज़िम्मेदारी है।

5. What Data We Collect / हम कौन-सा डेटा एकत्र करते हैं

(a) To provide, maintain, and improve the Mera Hisaab app and its features.

(b) To verify your identity during registration and login.

(d) To generate aggregated, anonymised insights and reports.

(e) To share data with Supporting Organisations, as described in Section 8.

(f) To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

7. Data Storage and Security / डेटा भंडारण और सुरक्षा

Your data is stored on secure servers located in India. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

आपका डेटा भारत में स्थित सुरक्षित सर्वरों पर संग्रहीत किया जाता है। हम आपके डेटा को अनधिकृत पहुंच, हानि या दुरुपयोग से बचाने के लिए उचित तकनीकी और संगठनात्मक उपाय लागू करते हैं।

8. Data Sharing with Supporting Organisations

This is an important section. Please read it carefully.

8.1 What Is a Supporting Organisation?

Many small businesses that use Mera Hisaab are supported by external organisations such as NGOs, foundations, CSR programmes, government bodies, financial institutions, or development agencies.

8.2 What Data May Be Shared

(a) Aggregated and Anonymised Data — Statistical summaries that do not identify any individual user.

(b) Business-Level Data — Your individual business data, only with authorised organisations.

8.4 Your Right to Withdraw Consent

Under the DPDPA, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You may withdraw your consent by navigating to Settings > Data Sharing in the app, or by contacting our Grievance Officer.

9. Data Sharing with Third Parties

(a) Service providers who help us operate the app (cloud hosting, SMS services, analytics).

(b) Law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or courts, when required by law.

We will never sell your personal data to advertisers or marketing companies.

10. Your Rights Under the DPDPA / DPDPA के तहत आपके अधिकार

(a) Right to Access — Request a summary of your personal data.

(b) Right to Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.

(d) Right to Withdraw Consent — Withdraw consent at any time.

(e) Right to Nominate — Nominate someone to exercise your rights.

(f) Right to Grievance Redressal — File complaints with our Grievance Officer.

11. Acceptable Use / स्वीकार्य उपयोग

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or fraudulent transactions.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.

• Use the app in a way that could harm our servers.

12. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may request deletion of your account at any time through Settings > My Account > Delete Account in the app.

Upon deletion, your personal data will be erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

13. Changes to This Agreement

We may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app before the changes take effect.

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

16. Limitation of Liability

Mera Hisaab is provided "as is." The app is a bookkeeping tool and is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

17. Intellectual Property

The Mera Hisaab app, including its design, code, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of Olive Digital Solutions Private Limited.
